Connecticut District Ladies Ministries is an arm of the UPCI Ladies Ministries with sister groups all across the United States and around the world. This effective, vibrant Kingdom ministry is comprised of faithful, diligent women working together to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Conference attendees must make their own room reservations at the Hartford/Windsor Marriott Airport Hotel. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.
Please call the Marriott reservation department at 1-800-MARRIOTT or you may call the hotel directly at 1-860-688-7500. Ask for the group rate for the United Pentecostal Church .
Preferences for bed type (1 double or 2 double beds) and for a non-smoking room must be stated when making reservations.

Meet the Speakers
Jelaine Lumpkin
Jelaine Lumpkin is a graduate of Apostolic Bible Institute. She is married to James G. Lumpkin, Jr. They currently pastor at Word Aflame Fellowship in Little Rock, Arkansas (since 1991). She has two children, Tres and Brandee, and two grandchildren, Sydney and Laine Lumpkin.
Before pastoring in Little Rock, the Lumpkins were Home Missionaries in New Jersey for 8 years. Jelaine speaks to various groups and conferences throughout the United States each year. She has also conducted international ladies conferences in Athens, Greece.
She has produced a DVD entitled Sacred Landmarks. This DVD is about generational markers that are a heritage of a godly woman that are not to be moved.worship, truth, and holiness.Guardians of the Glory is a prayer card with keys to praying for your city and neighborhood that Jelaine has authored.
Wanda Chavis
Wanda Chavis has one high maintenance husband: Rev. Jeff L. Chavis; three handsome sons: Brocc, Cortt and Kyle; two charming daughters-in-love: Randi and Amanda; and five active grandbabies: Elijah, Logan, Juliana, Cortney and Sydney.
The Chavis' pastored for 25 years in Spring Lake, NC, where they now preside as Bishop and their son Brocc is the pastor. They work with UPCI- Home Missions Division Multicultural Ministries - and serve as coordinators of Native American Ministries & Evangelism.
Wanda is a full time college student working towards a BS in Alternative Medicine. She has authored several books, is a song writer and musician as well as a frequent conference speaker. She hosts an annual Ribbons of Blue - Day Conference, inspiring women and girls to cultivate holiness, hope and humor in their daily lives.

Daughters of Zion
Daughters of Zion is made up of women who meet on the first Monday of each month to pray focused prayer for their children and the children of the local church and community. DOZ is committed to the spiritual preservation of this generation and beyond, and the spiritual restoration of the previous generation.
The mission of Daughters of Zion is to mobilize women to unite in prayer and to lift up a standard against the forces of evil for their children. Brochures in Spanish and English are available at no cost from Ladies Ministries.
More to Life
More To Life equips women with the literature necessary to teach friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members more of God's Word and His plan for salvation.
It also provides additional tools for Christian growth on a special website devoted just to ladies.
Open Door Ministries
Open Door Ministries is designed to help young women find their place in the body of Christ by empowering, equipping, and encouraging them for excellence in their God-given calling.
A monthly publication, Threshold E-Zine, is available through Open Door Ministries.
Reflections Magazine
Reflections is a Christian magazine by women, for women. It is published bimonthly and contains devotions, recipes, inspirational articles, and short stories.

Today's Christian Girl
Today's Christian Girl is a club-type program for girls and young ladies 10 to 18 years of age designed to help today's girl become tomorrow's Christian woman: a balance of mental, physical, spiritual and social graces.
It's purpose is to teach and train our young ladies in basic life principles, to help them understand a true biblical balance of life-how to be a young lady in every sense while empowering them to accomplish great things for God through their dreams and talents.
Women of Worth
The Women Of Worth program is a ministry to the widows of our deceased ministers to help them realize that they are still a vital part of the kingdom of God and to help them through their grieving period.
The goal of WOW is to offer encouragement and fulfillment by suggesting ways to reach out to others through new ministries. Informational brochures may be obtained from Ladies Ministries without charge.
